We had a good evening on Friday at The Chequers, fantastic effort by you all. Great atmosphere and beer. I especially enjoyed the salmon starter. Congratulations.

We had lunch at the Chequers today, delicious food, very reasonably priced. Jan and her staff were very welcoming and friendly.
The family who run the pub are all super friendly and enthusiastic. You can feel the energy they are putting into this venture. Lovely relaxed, up-beat atmosphere, great to be able to take our dog too, plenty of water bowls available for him. Wonderful historic building with beautiful old bar.

We are locals and Met friends yesterday at the chequers with the kids. There was a live band in the garden. jam packed and it really was a brilliant atmosphere and afternoon in the sun as always. we all enjoyed it as usual.
